Agricultural Infrastructure

CONCERN for agricultural infrastructure was also shown by EEES through assistance in the construction of farm roads in Alausalo Village and Liu Village.
The EEES is also actively building operating roads to gas wells which are also used by the community, most of whom work as farmers. This road infrastructure makes it easier for the community to transport agricultural products at each harvest season.
Besides farm roads, EEES also built farmer bridges in Abbatireng Village and Mamminasae Village. The presence of this farmer’s bridge is a shortcut that can connect agricultural areas, especially the mobilization of agricultural equipment during the planting season without having to turn quite a distance.

EEES did not miss building a number of ponds (water storage structures) in Abbatireng Village, Macanang Village and Lamiku Village. The existence of this reservoir helps farmers who have difficulty getting water, especially in the dry season.

EEES is also carrying out a river normalization project in Lamiku Village. Several tributaries were dredged so that they could collect and distribute water that was used by the community to irrigate their fields using water pumps.
